You have taken the word of other people for every belief you have and hold dear today. When you learned that God judges you, someone (just a regular person) was telling you that. When you learned that God will punish you, a person fed you that one too. Why would you take the word of another person for something so important. (Remember, people wrote the verses that appear in the bible as well) And if you continue to believe what you believe now, why worry about anybody else's punishment?

My advice is either change your rules or take your licks. If you can't talk yourself out of the idea that you're getting a supernatural spanking then face the music like a good Christian.

Show me where God breaks His own rules. And then maybe I can answer your query.

Hmmmmm, lemme try anyway.

First, let's be clear as to what constitutes "sin". Sin is anything you do, say, or think that is intended to cause malicious harm to anyone or anything, including to God and to yourself.

Since God, by definition to BE God, is perfect, that attribute precludes the desire to cause harm. The desire to cause harm springs from a desire to feel superior and not having any other way to achieve that desire. Obviously God is not troubled with an inferiority complex. Therefore God is sinless. As for judging the sinfulness of others and giving the just reward for those sinners, see the Book of Job.

In a nutshell, whether you like it or not, whether you accept it or not, He IS God. It's His football and you play the game by His rules or you're for the showers. If that's tough, so be it. You got a beef, take it to the Home Office and gripe to the Creator in Propria Persona. Course, that means you gotta die first, but hey, at least you'll get the straight skinny.

Who says judging and punishing is a sin? It is a preventative control of society against corruption. Systems of courts are set up to punish those who break the rules. God is the Most Just, so when He judges it is for our own good. For example if you break a rule in your home, your parents or legal guardians will punish you according to your crime and most likely, it will stop you from doing it again, or to be more careful. Of course, God Sees every thing, so we can not get away with any thing.

Brilliant Question!!

I actually do NOT believe that God judges or punishes. I don't believe there will be a day of judgment nor is there hell. I think that when the Christians were going around trying to banish the old religion (nature philosophy or paganism) they made the whole thing up to scare people into believing in their God.

Why would a loving God (Christians claim he is), punish and judge someone for NOT acknowledging love? Crazy, huh?

All right dear, the punishment and judging both are simultaneously happening with the human being by themselves, through own deeds and needs. The concept on god and spirituality is the one has to be changed long time ego in the human being, but we are still under the bondage's of the local theories of regional languages and religious interpretations, not by the law of universal love. Our desires invites troubles into our lives and after all we put everything on religious gods, its the time is over to think beyond the religion on about reality and truth ,love and that is whats the sense making god.

First of all I know God didn't whisper to you that he judges and punishes. That is coming directly from a mortal human source that has told you he does. A person has told you that, not God. You have no way of knowing if he does judge, if he does punish, and what exactly a sin is. The bible is a bunch of scraps written by mortal sinning humans, so that's not exactly a sound defense either. Also if this is your worst dilemma, consider yourself lucky to be here, and start enjoying life. :)

People choose their own punishment (hell), by rejecting Christ's offer of salvation, which is offered freely to anyone who will repent and ask forgiveness for their sins. That's because Christ is the only way to salvation--there is no other way. Acts 4:12 It's like a man hanging on a ledge over a volcano. Only one person has a rope to save him, but he rejects it, and falls into the pit. God gives you a choice; accept the truth, or live with your decision to reject it, along with the consequences. God is the supreme ruler over all. He has the right to do as he wishes. But he gives you a choice.

God is in charge and he makes the rules. HE is holy and cannot sin, the complete opposite of Man.

God will send his Son,Jesus Christ to judge the world. The nations of the world will be judged for how they treated his chosen people,Israel and did we accept or deny his free gift of salvation. The people who take the mark, worship Satan or other gods, do not repent of their sins or deny his SON did not die on the cross will spend all of eternity in the lake of fire.

he's God we're not, he's perfect we're not, he's always just we're not.

And god didnt say for us not to judge or punish. He said judge your selves lest you be judged, and punish your children if they disobey.

Stop having your moment and get to know him. Then you can make some what educated accusations against the being that not only created you but offers you eternal life and all things good in this one.
