I don't exactly understand all parts to your question, but if you are asking why do people usually refer to God as a "Him" its probably because he took male form when he came to earth (i.e. Jesus). Thats my guess.

To answer your question without being sided tracked by other philosophical considerations, the Bible always refers to GOD in the Male Gender. The Old Testement written in Hebrew does so and the New Testement in Greek follows the same gender designation. One of the most telling is how Jesus addresses GOD as his Father.

Not all religions do this. Many of the modern Pagan faiths and aboriginal faiths honor the Great Spirit or All. This divine creative force is genderless, it is the Spirit of the universe. Some believe that the Great Spirit is just to big and powerful and stuff for us, as mere humans, to understand. So, the Spirit will show its self to us in way we can understand, as a God or Goddess or a prophet etc.

Interesting question. God Himself is Spirit. Jesus (also God) did take on the form a a human. Man always tries to bring things down to our level. Bringing Almighty God down to our level is utterly ridiculous. It simply can not be done, yet people try anyway. Perhaps they think that it would be easier to understand Him if they lower God to our level. What an insult to God, huh! He can not be fully comprehended by any mere human being. Even the angels in heaven do not fully understand Him.

Jesus is God incarnate & was born male. God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit. Three facets of one God.

God revealed himself in the male form
This does not mean he is a male, it is just how he chose to reveal himself. Also, it has many other theological implications

God supercedes our realm, therefore he knows everything we know, he is everywhere at anytime, etc.

God always refers to Himself in Scripture as a male, that's where I get it from.

Jesus knew God intimately for all eternity...He called Him Abba, that's good enough for me.

Hell'o how are you?

Firstly, I would like to say that God was never subjected to a prophet. Every prophet was called according to the word which I call the Bible and believe came from God. A prophet is a mouth piece of God. He spoke to the people who did not obey the commands God had set forth before them to begin with. In Hebrews 6:12 we read: " For whom ever the Lord love he heavily chastens (Or disiciplines is another word for "chastens")". So, while God's chosen people were practicing their sedition and disloyalty to God he brought forth prophets to speak directly to the crowd and towns of the people. Some repented, most did not and after many warning they were punished just as you and I have been punished by our parnets for not adheering to their words. He never just delighted in punishing them without warning them many times before executing judgment on them. If you warn a friend many times to stop stealing money from you and he/she continues would you not execute judgement on him by breaking your relationship of friendship or possibly prosecuting? Of course you would especially after giving him many chances.

Secondly, look up the definition of "person" you'll get many definitions. Just as if you were to look up the word "fast" you would get a few such as: " Someone who is quick", " A practice of abstaining from food for religious purposes", " Someone who is a theif"--Like be cafeful around him he is fast. So if you focus on this very defintion of "person" you may understand that it is not the same as the defintion you may be thinking of.

Person--"The composite of characteristics that make up an individual personality; the self"

The other one is this (Which is what you are appling to God).
Person- "In one's physical presence; A living human".

If we aplly the first to God we understand he characteristics and attributes. For instance in Genesis we read " Let us make man in our image" (God) , most look at this and say physical image, but this is not to be taken in such a way. We are more than just flesh and blood their is something deeper within us, something compelling and deep! Intellect, intelligence, devoution, dedication a seeking mentality to know more just as you are wondering the very questions you are now does not come from flesh and blood and physical part of the body but something deeper with in! These are our characteristics our attributes, but they are not "He's" or "She's" they are who we truly are and that is a spritual being cloaked with flesh and blood jsut as I cover my body with clothes, so does my flesh act as clothes for my true being internal! I do dare say God does not sit in eternity with male reproductive parts, nor female reproductive parts by which we call people male and female. God made male (Man) and female (Woman) which means literally "From man"! He created us, our bodies from the "dust" as is written in Genesis and anatomically our bodies our formed with potassium, iron, zinc, and many other elements from the earth--Thats what the body is made from elements of the Earth just as is recorded in the Bible in Genesis. God is a Being, not a male with a wife as some mormons would claim, forget the cults they confuse many and are as th Apostles Pauls says: " Lying Dogs" who seeks to confuse many! Mormons say God has a wife in heaven, how humanley attributed! This is too much, God is a Being, for what reason would he need a wife? He is not insecure nor lonley nor does have desire to have sexual iontercourse for crying out loud here this is God we are talking about. By the way I could fly in space since their is no gravity, but I am still in a physical realm am I not? Seeing, hearing, tasting, feeling, and smelling are our senses, however, which of these do yo believe to be the most portentious? Some say seeing is believing, but how many people have you come across that you thought you once knew but in the blink of an eye became a stranger, so no, seeing is not always believing, sorry. FEELING is the most important! When we see we feel something about it, when we hear some good news we feel good, we we taste something good we are joyful, when we smell something sweet how yummy! Feeling, Love is not tangible, not is tasteable, smellable, visable, or audible, but you FEEL love, but nobody claims it does not exist! Nobody says because you cant see love, or hear it, or because it doesnt walk means it is not physically real. I can feel GOD thats enough for me, God knows feeling is believing, not seeing. Or he would choose to make himself known, but instead he wants us to believe that when we feel him we believe Him by faith (Which is what we are saved by through Christ). I could explain the trinity but in its deep truth it would be very hard so I challenge you to research the Trinity! God, Son, Holy Spirit. I hope some of this helps a bit and will motivat you to become more studious towards this subject and please let us continue to converse about these issues, but come with an open mind and heart. Thanks

Your friend,

NICK
