why do christians think the holy spirit was the next thing after Jesus? It is said that the holy spirit been around before, during and after jesus time. So how could Jesus possibly be talking about something that has always been around? and why would Jesus have to leave for the holy spirit?I thought they worked together.
"But if go, I will send him to you. And when he comes, he will convict the world of sins and of righteousness and of Judgment" John 16:7-8.
Can this be the holy spirit Jesus is talking about or something else?

Could Jesus possibly be talking about the muslim's Prophet Muhammed? Since the holy spirit cant convict the world of sins or be righteously alone.

In Isaiah 9:6-7, it says, Unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given. And what is the name of this son? The "Mighty God" in the next verse.
JESUS CHRIST IS: "THE GOD ALMIGHTY"
Isaiah vs 6:
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit were all from the beginning of time. Read the entire Bible from Gen. to Rev. It makes more since than picking out scriptures, it all flows together.

Yea, Jesus was talking of the Holy Spirit. They been around for a long time I believe. Guess as long as God. But, that my opinion and I know there are others.
