Tafseer, or explanation by M.Pooya"

The events which took place in the battle of Uhad have been described and discussed from verse 121 of this surah onwards. That which befell the Muslims was by Allah's will so that the believers and the hypocrites could be identified openly, and the faith of the one group and the hypocrisy of the other made clear. Allah knew best that which the hypocrites concealed. When they were asked to come and fight in the way of Allah, they thought that it was not a fair fight (because the enemy was killing them, therefore, they took to flight). Nearer were the hypocrite deserters on that day to infidelity. They also assumed that had those who were slain in the battle stayed at home they would have remained alive. Those who do not believe in Allah are ignorant of the fact that the hour of death is certain whether they go to the field of battle or stay at home.

(My opinion): This verse distingushes the believers fromt he hyporcrites..... since for the hypocrites this life is more valuable, they would have been alive to enjoy it.

This is referring to the battle of Uhud which the pagans declared war on Madinah. Muslims lost that battle as they ran to the mountains. The pagans did not bother to continue the fight up to the mountain and thats where this verse and the ones before and after come in. You cant read the qur'an like the bible which seems to be what your doing.

Is death separate from life? The value is one, to live honorably, and die honorably. It is a different stage of life. Those who went to battle to defend Islam became martyrs, while those who stayed home said, 'if only they had listened to us, they would not have been killed' by staying @ home w/ their wives and families. Then God says, 'Avert death from your own selves, if you speak the truth' meaning, live for ever. God is telling you never to die, if you speak the truth. Which one of us can fight the angel of death, when it comes and violently snatches our souls from our limb body? If you can, then do what ever you like.

This verse is talking about what the hypocrites said. The hypocrites do value life more, since they don't believe in God as they claim.

Your condition is as the condition of these people described in the Quran.

As to those who reject faith; it is the same to them, wether you warn them or do not warn them; they will not believe.
Quran, Chapter 2 verse 6.

YOU ARE NOT WORTH ANSWERING.

if you read the sura from the beginning you would have understood that it's talking about a battle , not about life in general.
you don't care to understand , you just hate Islam ,and you want to degrade it anyway you can.
