i date outside of my "race" all the time...in fact, most of the time i do. i don't let racism stop me at all nor do i care what my family thinks. besides, as far as i'm concerned...there's only one race and that's the human race.

The answer to your question is no , i would not let my family or friends or anyone tell me who i should or should not date. Lucky for me my family is really open to who ever i choose to be with .
i am half italian and half black and for some reason i have a problem when i see a black man and a white women walking togther. It bothers me. It makes me feel like "what ? black women arent good enough for you" . Espically when they appear to be good hard working black men. My friends think im crazy because i am of two races. But i have many white female friends and they have dated black men. My friend Jocelyn impaticular is very much inlove with a black man and that dosent bother me. I believe if ur inlove with someone that u shouldnt care what anyone thinks , but you can tell when a couple is inlove or not inlove. Most of the white women i see with black men are not inlove. It looks like nothing more then a physical thing to me. Then black men have to deal with the white womens parents talking about " i dont want you dateing a black man " And black men put up with that **** all the time . Why not just stay with your race? But then again if your inlove its worth fighting for. I have soo many thoughts on this subject. You seem like an intresting person . If you would like to chat with me more im me @ Thinkpink4835.

Ooh, my friend, you are so wrong about people not dating outside of their own race. I don't know where you were born or where you were raised, but about half of my friends are dating out of their race and yours truly is Latino and dating a Chinese lady, but most of my friends are Afro-American and Latino, and some are dating Chinese and some are dating Caucasians, and some are even dating some who are half something and half something else. The truth is, that, now more than ever, there is more inter-racial dating than ever before, heck, even gays are openly dating, and not only openly dating, but with a person of another race. If they non't care, why should you, besides, your friends and or your family are not the ones who are dating that person, you are! right! besides, you can't please all the people all of the time, but you can please some of the people some of the time, so why not start by pleasing your love one and yourself.

I think its beautiful when people can express their feelings and not bow to the status que placed on us by society. People forget the culture of america and so it seems, there isn't what they would describe a "problem" with this situation, They choose not to address it, well the "problem" is people being color blind, to the specifics of the word, BLIND TO THE COLORS AROUND YOU. They are unwilling to accept them and hence they are not there or you are blind to them. I don't believe in color blindness, its ignorance, it needs to change, be aware of the wonderous variety around you and accept it. I Think its extremly interesting to learn about other people's ways of life. I think its really sad that people of any race can simply 'dis' others becuase they are of any color.

I'm totally not racist, and I find all racists sexy and gorgeous. The only concern I'd have is the cultural and religious differences. If there's too big of a difference in the way you're brought up or what you believe in, that causes major problems in a relationship.

My boyfriend is black and I'm white. My family is very supportive and accept him as the man I love. Racism is ignorance. It will never sway me in my choice to love or be with someone of another race.

NEVER NEVER NEVER!!! Love is blind! If people don't like that, it's their problem! Life is too short to be worrying about such silly things as skin color!

I am against it. It is not that I am racist because I have many white friends. I feel that Blacks should stay with blacks and Whites should stay with whites.I don't believe in mixing!
