Malachi 4:4 Remember, you people, the law of Moses my servant with which I commanded him in Horeb concerning all Israel, even regulations and judicial decisions.
As far as I know the Law was fulfilled in Jesus.
2Cor.3:14b ...the old covenant, because it is done away with by means of Christ .
Ephesians 2:15 By means of his flesh, he abolished the enmity, the Law of commandments consisting in decrees...
Galatians 3:13 Christ by purchase released us from the curse of the Law by becoming a curse instead of us...19) Why then the Law? It was added to make transgressions manifest, until the seed should arrive..
The whole point of being a Christian and loving God and mankind, will result in fulfilling the law. We should be familiar with the morals of the Law, especially in areas that are not covered in the New Testament. Basically if we show love, we will not work evil.
The Jewish nation ran on the Law. It was a government and a religion. Now Christianity is just a religion in the sense that followers do not have the right to execute the punishment of crimes, and the country or state we live in has each their own laws regarding crimes.
However, Christianity is a government in the sense that the Kingdom of God is coming and many Christians will rule with Christ and judge the nations; Rev.20:4.
Do you think it is right to curse your parents? (Exodus 20:12)
I do not see a lie yet...What is the lie? Make no mistake ,,,we have a jealous God, and He will in time, tolerate no rivalry toward Himself; Exodus 13:34, Rev. 14:7, Numbers 25:7-13, Exodus 20:1-3, Nahum 1:2,3.

The law you are talking about was given to the Israelites and to them only. God gave them this law because they had no worldly king and no government. God was their king and the law was to be their constitution.
Jesus did say that the law will not pass away and indeed it didn't! Jews still live by it! Christians however, are not required to keep the law. Read Acts chapter 15 where this matter is discussed.
The Apostles did give the Gentile believers certain guidelines but more as recommendations, not as a new law.
I think the "only" law that applies to Christians is "love God with all your heart and love your neighbor as yourself".

it seems to me that Matthew and Mark are in the NEW Testament, not the Old.... and... in my opinion "until all things have taken place" is not a correct translation of the verse.. "Matthew 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled." KJV
which he talked about in Matthew 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. KJV
The old law was fulfilled by Jesus Christ and he established a new law.
how much of the old law that still applies.. I do not know.

First, thanks for using a modern bible so we can understand it. I think that Jesus meant that the laws of the Ten Commandments wouldn't be abolished. Kinda like he was telling them not to be afraid that he was going to change everything they new, just roll it up into "Love others like I have loved you"--the Great Commandment. Of course, you won't be convinced no matter what we say. So enjoy your non-belief, sad though it may be. BTW: what audience?

I recommend that you get a 1611 King James Bible and a Strong's Concordance and study again the things you wrote about. You will find tremendous wisdom and knowledge as you divide rightly the words contained in the Bible back to their original Greek or Hebrew.
Have fun studying and get back to us with the results.

no religion, whatsoever, is completely innocent and sweet. since most religions that exist today are really old, Islam being one of the youngest has been around for 1500 years, they have archaic rules and thoughts that might have seemed appropriate back then but should no longer be followed and therefore should be revised. the problem happens when people decide that since they are in scripted in a "holy text" they should follow them literally and try to apply them to world that we live in.

You just don't get it, do you...When one is under the Law of Grace, the Pentateuchal Law is fulfilled by Christ in our place. He said, "I did not come to destroy the Law but to fulfill it."
He ushered in the "NEW" Covenant. "The days come, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, not after the covenant I made with their fathers." (Jer. 31:31) He made the first Covenant (Law) old. And on with the new!

Keep your opinions and beliefs to yourself and stop slaughtering people for what it is they believe. If you believe Christians are liars then believe it. Just stop getting on the internet and preaching YOUR sermons and stirring up the hornets nest.
I am a peaceful person and I respect others beliefs. If this is what you choose to believe, then believe it and keep it to yourself. Don't express your opinions of hate for the rest of the world to see.
Stop slamming others beliefs.
The old testament is something that can easily misinterpreted
Christians do not hate their children and go around killing them and Christians do not condemn or kill the nonbelievers. You are a lunatic!
I don't know what you mean by THEIR God.THEIR GOD is YOUR GOD. A loving being, A loving Father in Heaven who asks that we judge not lest we be judged, who commands, thou shalt not kill, who commands us to love one another
Ever hear of the commandment thou shall not kill?
Love thy neighbor as thyself.
Keep your ignorant and hateful opinions to yourself and stop spreading your hate and venomous words to others.
If you hate Christians, then hate them. Just keep it to yourself
Congratulations, you just contributed to the population of pure ignorance.
