Yep, when I was a child and behaved badly I got spanked by my Mum mostly. I probably only got about 2 spankings a year and they mostly happened to me between the ages of 5 - 10. My parents only used their open hand to spank me and when I was clothed they did so usually with my undies up. But on one or two occasions I was spanked in the evening after I'd changed into my pyjamas. I never wore undies to bed (to help the air circulate around my testicles so I was told by Mum!) and when I was spanked then I would have by pj bottoms taken down and be spanked on my bare tushy.

A couple of years ago me and Mum were discussing lack of discipline with kids today and society trying to outlaw smacking etc. etc. Well I told Mum that although I was neither for or against spanking of children, I still thought that I deserved the spankings I got. Then I plucked up enough courage to ask Mum whether she preferred to spank me over my underpants or on my bare bottom. Mum said that she couldn't really remember why as it was 10 years ago. After some thought she told me that it was difficult to decide whether there would be much more benefit in taking my undies down as they were a pretty thin fabric anyway which is why they stayed up if I was wearing day clothes. But she then went on to say that because I was very thin I had a small and skinny little bottom which was easy to smack and she had no problems checking the redness of my cheeks. I kinda blushed when Mum told me this and she finished by smiling and saying, "Aw Thomas, I've seen you with nothing on plenty of times as a kid and quite a few times as a teenager so it's not as if I only ever saw your bottom for the odd spanking or two!"

As a child, I was never spanked. My mother was a yeller - constant yelling. I Never actually had a real conversation with her until I was an grown woman at the age of 26.

As an adult, (40s female) Yes I like a sexual spanking, and it is mostly done on the bare bottom.

As domestic discipline, no. But as playful paddling with another child and as self-stimulation? You bet! By the time I was old enough to read, I was thoroughly hooked on traditional bare bottom spanking. All through my teens and my twenties, I spanked myself. Since then, an assortment of female laps have made me feel right at home.

I grew up in the 80s and 90s. Once I turned 5 or 6 that was the only way I got spanked, and one I was 10 it was with a belt. That continued thru my teen years. I wouldn't reccomend it, at least not as often as I got it... These frequent embarassing spankings made me sort of resentful and were a wedge in my parents and my relationship, but life is to short to hold grudges forever, and you have to realize that parents aren't perfect either, and we get along great now.

Yes, I was as a child, on a regular basis. And my three children get it that way too. Every parent has their opinion on spanking, I believe it is the only way to spank a child properly.

Yes, that's how my parents spanked me. I didn't like it at the time, but I never thought it was abusive. It made me feel vulnerable and embarrassed, but I'm sure that was part of the reason my parents spanked that way.

Yep, I sure was, and it really never hurt me any. I don't spank my kids unless I feel that it is the right thing to do in a particular situation. Every child and every circumstance is different.

The only thing that ever bothered me about discipline when I was a child was my father never listening to my reasons for things that I did. That, and "Don't cry, or I'll give you something to cry about!" I hate that phrase!

yeah i did. its so gross and sick. and i remember when i was like 5 my mom spanked me bare bottomed and then JUST finished dinner and called all my brothers and sisters in to eat while i was standing there with my pants dropped!

Yes--and I turned out pretty good-- not a deviant or ax yielding psycopath--so good in fact that I spank my own kids the same way and they seem to be doing just fine.
