It depends on the reason why the cat is puking. Is it caused by hairballs? Then you could something like "Kat-a-lax" that could help. My cat just eats too much. I've had him on the best foods ever since he was a kitten. He's just greedy and will eat until he's full, then go and puke. So, we've limited the amount of food in his bowl, feeding him about a handfull a day....and that has helped alot. Best of luck......

Most likely is hairballs. There are kitty treats out now formulated just for treating hairballs. Lots better than the old days when we had to force Vaseline down their throats. Cats collect hair in their stomachs from cleaning themselves. They normally don't get enough oils to slide the hair on out, so have to throw up occasionally to get rid of it. If the treats don't help, or if the cat is puking lots of times in one day, better take him to the vet, in case it isn't hairballs after all.

Take him to the vet to find out what is causing it to happen. If its happening a lot it could be a sign of kidney failure and that is the bodies way of shutting down. I'm not trying to scare you, but that is what happened to my cat and he did eventually die. So, just take him to the vet to find out what it is caused from. If its not something medically wrong and he is just doing that, then I would start looking for something that he got a hold of. Maybe, a plant or cleaner. You might be able to give him a few CC's of Mylanta or Milk of Magnesia.
