If I am correct Hebrews, and later Jews, came from Abraham. There was then a split in the people between the people between basically Hebrews, and everyone else. To better rephrase the question, put Noah in place of Adam and Eve. (because of the flood) We are all decendants of Noah (Hebrew or not) and then Abraham split that apart.

Adam and Eve existed before the designation "Hebrew" existed.
Children of Abraham are called Hebrew.

Adam and Eve weren't hebrew. >.> They were the first people, how could they be hewbrew? But, there is another family that we are spawned from. that we are garunteed to have come from, (almost) according to the bible. That would be noah and his family, so if they we're hebrew, then we all must have SOME hebrew in us.

essentially, yes, but overtime new religions formed..people converted, wars were fought over which religion was best, people sread out to cover the globe. keep in mind tho adam and eve are from hebrew and christian teachings, many other religions don't believe in adam and eve at all. also keep in mind that the bible was passed down for generations orally before it was ever written down....did you ever play telephone as a child?

I don't believe in it but I use to be a christian so here it goes. According to Christians we all came from Noah. Hebrews are those who are descended from Eber who is Noah's great great grandson. Keep in mind there are flood legends and myths older than the noah flood story. It seems Abraham who was from Iraq ripped off the babylonian legend of Gilgamesh that he would be exposed too and changed it around to fit his new religion.
Israelites are those decended from Jacob which is a big diffrence.

Abraham was 2008 after Eden and he was a Hebrew because he lived in Hebron, he was 175 years old at death in 2183 after Eden, 1883 before Christ. So we are blessed because of Abraham, as Jesus is the seed to save the world.
