Most couples set up a registry. Just ask them where they are registered and buy them something off their list.

They should have registered on the wish list. Ask them where they registered and get online to look at what they want/need. Also when you buy them a gift, you sign that gift off on the registry so no one else will buy them the same gift. Everyone needs these things: dishware/silverware/glasses, appliances, furniture, etc. It depends on ywho you're closer to, the bride or the groom. You want the gift to apply to both of them, but have more meaning to the one you are closer to.

First of all see if they are registered anywhere. Check the websites of Pottery Barn, Crate and Barrel, William-Sonoma, and Ross Simons. They all have great wedding gift ideas. You can also order on line and have the gift shipped directly to the bride and groom.

why dont you get them a nice picture frame with their last name on it. you can put something like The Jones or whatever their name is. it will look nice. or you can get them a gift certificte to thier fav place,a four bread toaster, a gift card to the movies, a gift card to a book store.something cute like a couple of tickets to a theme park. so they can have fun before the kids come along.have fun.

I like giving Wall Street Guide's to money. For wealthy people, it helps with the details of how things work, and for those less fortunate, it helps with the very basics. They are thin tall books with lots of pictures at the book store.

You can give them money so they can but whatever they want, but you can also give them something like chinaware, but you have to know the design they like. You can give them something having to do with the kitchen because that is what I usually see people giving to couples. Give them something that will help make thier home. And if you just can't decide just give them money.

money, one size fits all
Gift Certificate for Wal-Mart or Target

Things that you think are "cute" or "nice" are YOUR TASTE not the couple's and they are already going to have a house full of FUGLY lamps, knick-knacks, towels, bedsheets etc. that their relatives bought for them and they HAVE to have out on display when they come to visit. Don't add to their aggravation....give money and they can go out and get whatever they might need for their new home that suits THEIR taste.
