I don't mean slim jims. I mean brands such as Pemmican and Obierto. Very low fat cuts of beef that have been dried and preserved and flavored with spices. Is that stuff good for you?

While it is better than greasy food, it is loaded with salt and preservatives. Not your best option. Go for the lean cuts of meat (without the salt)

No. While it's high in protein, it's loaded with preservatives, salt, and well, beef. None of those are really considered 'healthy'.
