Check with your doctor before starting any weight loss program.
Anyone who attempts to lose weight by reducing calorie consumption experiences feelings of hunger and fatigue. Hoodia diet pills attempt to reduce those feelings, making it easier to stick to a low calorie diet and therefore lose weight. As with any weight loss plan, only people who are in good health should use hoodia diet pills and they should be used in conjunction with appropriate diet and exercise. Because thirst is suppressed as well as appetite, it is important to remember to drink plenty of water. Most experts recommend eight 8 ounce glasses per day to maintain proper hydration. Other than thirst suppression, there are no known side effects associated with hoodia diet pills and they are probably a much better choice than diet pills containing stimulants.
I tried Hoodia and......
Hoodia has worked for me...and with no side effects.
For all you doubters, here is the prior feedback for another Answers user who followed my advice:

**** VERY IMPORTANT NOT TO GET RIPPED OFF ---
#1. Be sure you are buying pure Hoodia...look for the import certificate on the website. No matter the price, if they do not display this, you really do NOT know what you are getting!
#2. Be sure it is 100% Hoodia & not mixed w/other herbs, etc.!!
#3. Keep in mind it stops your hunger pangs…you MUST remember to break your habit to always eat at certain times.
#4. Drink a full 8oz. glass of water with it!
Hoodia (HOOD-ee-uh) gordonii - A genus of 10 to 20 species from southwestern Africa.
Hoodia gordonii is the stoneage wonder plant found throughout the dry arid regions of the South western African continent now on the verge of making history in the fight against obesity. It is a genus belonging to the Asclepiadaceae family which consists of approximately 20 species. Used to stop hunger, quench thirst, and provide energy among other things since prehistoric times, Hoodia gordonii was first discovered by the San tribesmen and women to get through the most difficult of times.

A good hoodia product will definitely help your weight loss program, but I'd get a supplement that has a metabolism booster as well.
I take a supplement called Herbalean, and it contains hoodia and the recently un-banned ephedra Ma Huang. It's made by the people that originally made MetaboLife 356, and their new fomula works very well for me. I have a lot of energy, and have completely stopped snacking between meals.

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.
I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.
It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.
Get started today!

It may or may not work but heres the thing. I tried it and yes I believe it suppressed my appetite which allowed me to eat less which of course resulted in weight lose but heres the thing. Once the weight is off you have to maintain it. Or youll gain it back.So either you take hoodia and dont eat much for the rest of your life or you do it the good old fashioned way. DIET and EXERCISE. Reduce your caloric intake, exercise and make losing weight a lifestyle change one that you can stick with for life. Lower calories and exercise is really not that hard once you get used to it which is where the lifestyle change comes in. It really does work. Good Luck

Before you fork over your hard-earned cash, you may want to check out these sites:

I am not convinced Hoodia is effective nor has it been tested for long term usage. I guess if you buy it, you can be a guinea pig.
Good luck.

I am currently taking them they are ok, i take 4 aday before meals, the only problem i find is that i wake up really early in the mornings, like 5am. i think its because they contain caffine. They do suppress your appetite but once you stop taking them your hunger pains return. I drink about 3 litres of water a day which helps with hunger pains, good luck tiger x

It worked for me! Very well, not only was I not hungry, but I stopped thinking about for entirely. Usually if Im on some sort of diet...foods on my mind 24/7. Anyway, I used it consistently for a month and lost 7 kgs, wether it was just psychological? I dont know?

Follow the 80/20 rule, which means eating clean 80 percent of the time and indulging a little 20 percent of times.

Take time once a 1 week to plan out and purchase meals and snacks so you might be prepared whenever hunger strikes.

Also include 10 grams of fiber to satiate hunger longer which will help prevent bloating from constipation.
