Christians hate you for not being a Christian, they hate me too,
What the Bible says about Non-Christians
They are without God.
"Whosoever ... abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God." -- 2 John 9
They are all antichrists.
"For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist." -- 2 John 7
They should be shunned. Neither marry nor be friends with them.
"Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? ... Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord." -- 2 Cor.6:14-17
They should be killed.
"If thy brother, the son of thy mother, or thy son, or thy daughter, or the wife of thy bosom, or thy friend, which is as thine own soul, entice thee secretly, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which thou hast not known, thou, nor thy fathers; Namely, of the gods of the people which are round about you ... Thou shalt not consent unto him, nor hearken unto him; neither shall thine eye pity him, neither shalt thou spare, neither shalt thou conceal him: But thou shalt surely kill him; thine hand shall be first upon him to put him to death, and afterwards the hand of all the people. And thou shalt stone him with stones, that he die." -- Dt.13:6-10

The thing of it is, most Christian (if not all) denominations are not allowed to ask questions that cannot be answered without consulting the bible. You will get either the "we are not to know" or "pray to god for the answer". I usually translate those to "We cannot think for ourselves and put 2 and 2 together. We need our priest, pastor ect to guide use, we are sheep (isn't a congregation called a flock? and the leader the shepard?) That is why I am no longer Christian. I never got any answers that made sense and was told to ask a diety that never answered.
I am now a witch, if I ask my elder a question not only will she give me an answer but she will also tell me where she got it, how she reached that conclusion and how I can find out more about it. Witchcraft does not keep secrets from its followers. We are more informed on our religion than any other I feel.
As to the book noone can understand, that is because it was written by man and rewritten so many times over the centuries with many of its texts cut out of it. The one true bible no longer exists. King James (the most popular version) was written by James the 1st to suit HIS beliefs not what is truth.

The bible is a guide to a good and happy life. Unfortunately, we being creations with finite minds. We can't always grasp the mind of a God, anymore than a dog fully understands what we do. The "Book" as you call it also tells us that things will be revealed when we as a people need to know his plans. Isn't it more honest for christians to say they don't know, rather than assume, and give someone the wrong advice? There are things we will never know. He is God! We are not. I hope this helps...have a good one!

You can't and won't understand it until you truly want to, and the spirit moves you to. Another thing that comes into play is that God is very calculating with time. Everything comes in it's own time, and for a reason, including understanding. Maybe you'll learn more frmo some experience or another if you don't understand something just yet. It's like figuring out a puzzle for yourself makes your brain work harder than looking at the answer first. God wants us to always be learning and growing!

Because you need God's help to understand it, like your other question about not needing God's help. You don't even read the answers of your own questions..
A book written by someone unbelieveably more intelligent than you are, and you think you will understand it. Take your algebra book to the kindergarten and see who understands. God is not in any form dumb..like you try to make him out to be..

There are things in all walks of life we don't comprehend now just religion. Of all things that would be hard to understand it just makes sense it would be God and his ways that would be beyond us. How can the finite understand the infinite or the one who is created and given limited knowledge grasp the Creator whose knowledge knows no boundaries. However there are some who do use this excuse with out warrant when what is asked is revealed in the Word. We can understand what God has revealed to us.

Hello Mallo;
Your correct. There are also those who's words are so many and so technical they cannot be understood by those they wish to impress.
God's Bible was built from personal experiences over the ages. Experiences he meant people to learn from. The New Testament was to help to further the 'peoples' general understanding of what Jesus and his disciples went through for us.
Some of the Bible was meant Not to be understood until now.
Part of the confusion is misinterpretation of earlier works, as to their application now. But in our Bible there is always a thread to follow. Cross references all through it. If intelligence is used, you will become aware of God's great power and for-thought.

The Bible is the contract of life of every man , woman boy and girl. The bible is very understandable if you want to learn, and if you want to give your life to God. The Spirit of God enables us to understand the Word of God The natural man does not recieve the things of God , he cannot even understand them because they are spiritually diserned. You must first be saved to enjoy all the wonderful benefits of the Word of God , the Word of God was written under the inspiration the the Holy Spirit to understand the Word you must have the Spirit . 1Corinth 2: 14

Because it's not meant for all to understand for their own protection come judgment. That's why Christ taught in parable especially to crowds. But if enough time and effort is put into study of God's Word even you could understand some of the simplest of truths.

He did not. The understanding comes from spiritual growth. The Bible is not a biography or novel, it is a guideline for christian spirituallity. It is amazing to me that at different times in my life, the very same verse or chapter that worked earlier can help with another problem or crisis. It is for us all to know, God's word is for everyone. But what most don't understand is that your heart has to be striving to be more Christlike in order for us to use it in our lives. If you don't have belief in Christ as the Son of God and accept Him as your Lord and Saviour, if you don't believe He lived and rose from the dead or confess your sins for forgiveness; then God's word will truly have no meaning for you.

Good question! Remember, everyones' understanding of Scripture is limited and/or colored by their own doctrines & interpretation of the Scriptures.
Personally, I believe we are meant to understand Scripture. However, I don't usually answer questions addressed to "Christians" since I'm not one. I'm Jewish.
If your question has anything to do with what you may call the "Old Testament", you may want to address your question to Jews & not Christians.
