No, it is not true,unless you remove the head you might get an infection at the site depending on the type of tick.

It's possible that is why they say to make sure you get it all or don't try pulling it.

If the head is completely buried then DON'T PULL IT.
Cover it with a gob of vasaline and then keep the dog from licking it.
The vasaline blocks off the the ports that give oxygen to the tick so in time the tick has to back out.

the body doesn't grow back..but if the head remains, it can easily become infected...when you remove a tick you should light a match....blow it out...touch the hot match to the tick and they will let go

Then sparkling the section with cleansing soap and water and disinfectant. If the top continues to be no longer out basically save it sparkling and look ahead to redness that gets worse. that is an indication of a secondary an infection. pass see a doctor then, for anitbiotics.

No not true. However the head is the part the spreads lyme disease so you HAVE to remove the head or else you can get lyme disease.

no it wont but you can get lyme-disease so if that does happen you might wanto go to the doctor and get it taken out!!!!! ad theyre is some type of shot they can give you to help you feel better if you get it but its a lasting disease atleast i think it is!!!!!! so you might want to get that taken care of the moment you start feeling bad!!!!!!!
