Dumbest thing you can do is take your dog to college. Leave it with a friend or family that will be able to give it the love and attention your dog deserves. Seriously!! Don't take your poor dog to college with you.

Stephens, a woman's college in Missouri allows pets. Dogs must be under 40 pounds. Also, Eckerd's in Florida allows dogs.

but you could always live in offcampus housing that allowed pets
however, many schools require freshmen (and even sophomores sometimes) to live oncampus
there really is no way to keep a dog in a dorm room or suite
