To lose your man boobs you must work out and consume less calories than you burn. Spot reducing (i.e. push-ups) is a common misnomer by people. You can only build muscle by doing a certain activity (i.e. chest muscle for push-ups) but you cannot spot reduce flab.

Only by fixing your diet and consuming less calories than you burn in a typical day will result in fat loss.

I agree with another writer suggesting you see a doctor. It could be genetic, caused by steroids, or too much of a certain hormone in your body. I believe only surgery can remove those. If the rest of your body is a bit flabby, chances are the manboobs are a result of poor diet / lack of exercise rather than the hormonal reasons.

Try using a site such as http://www.fitday.com to monitor your food intake and calorie expenditure. Give it some time and see if the weight comes off.

Good luck.

If you're not losing fat, muscle will build under the fat and make your "boobs" appear larger. You need to diet and exercise together.

well if it is just fat , then it will go by regular exercise. But if it is tissue ie: a condition called gynocomastia ( breasts in males ) , then only surgery will do the trick. get it checked.
