I have a tattoo, its just black lettering. I'm over it and now I want it remove. I'm sure it's very costly even still they do the removal in different sittings so I'm assuming one lazer treatment has a fee, then the next one...and so on. However, if you get a tattoo removed can't you still see something there? Whether it's a scar or a very faint image of what was there. Because if that's the case I think I'll just stick with what I have. A tattoo is better than a huge scar or a "ghost image" of what was a tattoo.
Thanks :)
Oh and if you have had a successfull tattoo removal- can you provide pics?
KThanks

Hi, I´m a tattoo artist. And that’s why I would say: COVER IT........with something you like more.
But…….if you want to remove it: laser removal is a lot more painful than making the tattoo…….and a lot more expensive. You can’t remove it in one sitting (depends on how big it is), and most of the time, during the whole process, it looks really ugly. Looks like a bad tattoo artist made a really bad tattoo……
After the removing it doesn’t really leave scars…..but……your pigments in the skin are destroyed…….means the color won’t change anymore. It stays white, while the rest of your skin is brown……
That is, what I can tell you. Because I know a girl which just removed a tat….( not one I made ;-)) )……and I followed the whole process…..over nearly one year.

Laser removal, it isn't painless, but neither is getting a tattoo in the first place. It is costly, can be done in an office, and depending on the size of the tattoo and the amount of work that has to be done, it can be done at one sitting. AND IT DOESN'T leave a scar.

You can have laser treatments to remove the tatoo. But it will leave a scar. Have you talk to a tatoo artist to see if you can put something you like more over that tatoo?
