It happened to me once long time ago, and now from time to time, when I know that it's really important (sex) (like with my girl for Valentine's day for example) I hesitate that I might not be able to satisfy her needs, and now, everytime the thought hits my mind even for a second, my penis goes soft and I can barely get it back up ..

Think about genealogy.... all those ancestors procreating left and right.

This is the Genealogy (Family History) section of Yahoo Answers. Take your question to some other place in Yahoo Answers (Medical issues or better yet, Psychology?) where I'm sure you'll find many more people who'll come up with answers to your short comings.

To remedy your penis sometimes going soft when you're having sex, consider:

1. ignoring it - just keep going
2. not masturbating for two weeks
3. acknowleding that your penis knows something you either don't or are hesitant to admit -- maybe your attraction to your significant other has diminished and it's time to look for ways to re-invigorate your relationship

If your penis sometimes goes LIMP rather than soft, then see a doctor.

Usually this has to do with a lack of confidence in bed. Learn to be more confident with women and the stiffy will rock all night long.

Choose parteners that let you feel yourself. Relax and remember its YOU on that bed and not someone else. It will go away once you accept your sex habbits. Hey and don't forget that foreplay is not only for women's enjoyment you can have it too until you are ready!!! Demand ... don't only give ;)
