I would prefer that you -- this is hypothetical -- become acquaintances first. And then ask polite questions, such as "are you available for lunch next week?" Don't make the mistake of not giving her the space. Don't sound urgent. And most of all, be sure that you feel confident enough to let her brush you off a couple of times. If you really think that she could be the undying love of your life, then become more bold within your acquaintance (politely persistent.) I've enclosed a few links for you to consider. You sound darling. You'll be fine.

knowing about a girl never starts with knowing about her past & specially if she has a boyfriend or not...its really irritating when asked such questions just when you dont even know each other properly...there are 1000 other things to talk about...she'll tell you everything (even about her boyfriend) once she is comfortable with you & such questions really make a girl uncomfortable... so guy just chill & take it slow...always remember that before anything else a girl just wants you to be her friend regardless of what she is or who all are there in her life...be caring & just respesct her privacy & never be too intruding...you'll go a long way like this...& ya dont ask questions but talk to her...i mean if you wanna know something about her then first share your experience about the same thing & if she is comfortabale she'll tell her side of the story...this way it wouldnt be intruding & would make for a good conversation...goodluck!!

The example of the kind of question you would ask is fine. The questions I would object to would be any kind of sexual, age, or money...... Those are personal and only for someone I know very well.

well, if a guy didn't really know me and he was asking me those questions i wouldn't be too comfortable giving him answers. But....i won't be that rude. I'd first ask why he wants to know and then depending on his answer then let him know, and if his reason wasn't good enough I'd just say that i had to go somewhere.

It depends on how well I know this person and how this person asks me.
If we've talked on a few occasions and I enjoy your company, I wouldn't mind.
If it's obvious that you like me yet I don't even like you as a person, I'd be annoyed that you can't take a hint.
Good luck honey.

well if you wasn't rude about it. I wouldn't think anything about it and just talk to you. If you asked me if I had a b/f I would say yes.
