Bad idea to drink yet. Alcohol tends to thin the blood and it could cause blood clots that have occured in the pockets where your teeth were to open up and you could start bleeding.

Follow the instructions from the doctor. Alcohol will thin the blood and could cause a dry socket to happen. Also, if you are taking Tylenol with codeine, then mixing that with alcohol could do harm.

When in doubt, call the dentist.

Do U think They would waste their money to put useless warnings on drugs bottles!

Be sensible 48 hours or more, it ain't gonna kill U!
It's a bad bad idea to mix the 2.
When U've finished the Penicillin U can drink all you like!

I would not be drinking and taking penicillin and tylenol 3's---penicillian is to prevent infection, and if you drink alcohol then that is preventing the penicillian to do its job, and you should never drink when taking tylenol 3's as they have codine in them.

if you drink alcohol while taking penicillin, you decrease it's effectiveness. If you drink while on Tylenol 3 you can OD. Your choice. I personally, don't care.

Tylenol 3's have codeine in them, not wise to mix with alcohol. Wait till your antibiotics and pain killers regime is over, before you drink.

No no no no no! My oral surgeon advised me wait at least a week. The alcohol can dissolve the blood clot that forms in the socket and if that happens you will end up with dry socket - which hurts like hell! I waited 2 weeks to be on the safe side!
