I feel sorry for those people. Some people get so brainwashed by their family and social group members that it's just sad. They lose their ability to think logically and ask question. They become mindless drones, and if you try to challenge their beliefs they don't have the mental fortitude to have a logical discussion. Go to a church as a non believer and ask questions. It is funny how many people will give you the same mindless answer to simple questions. They don't even realize that they make no sense!

Most give the scripture so that you may read it and make a judgment about the answer for yourself. Some will give their own opinion, but that is all it would be. The intent is not to insult you, but to give you a biblical reference to draw your own conclusions.

As far as the statement to make up another question without falsehood, that particular individual is being self-righteous and judgmental. Those are insulting, though the writer may be unaware of the effect they have with their answer.

People quote you scripture because it is the thing left that has concrete detail. Honestly read some of the answers many get when asking a honest answer.

some people are just silly, Some do not believe in god so they make fun, sometimes they type something quick for 2 points.
To ask serious question here, you are setting your self up for some really weird answers. Take all the advice with a grain of salt. Good luck.

look cut and psate of a scripture is cool enough(they selected this answer from somewhere and because they liked it and hence that is their answer..)..isn't it..?
they found the answer for you(whatever be the source)
if you don't like cut and paste answers...try to search the answer yourself before posting the questions
and regarding the questions which really need an opinion, i don't think people would generally copy and paste!!

I don't mind it when some people do that but it is nice to get their own answer and not a Scripture.

You don't have to believe in God to be good. If you are good and God exists, He will someday come to you. You should never get into discussions about religion, because it is so much like politics, everyone wants to be right in their beliefs.

they do this because they are scared of the truth. anything that challenges their faith is met as an attack and they automatically go into defense mode.
