I am a Golf Professional doing training in Merchandising. Does anyone know what a destination product is?

your putting items in a place so someone will see them and purchase them on impluse

You are referring to placement of sale items and products that the customer is coming into the store specifically for. By placing sale items on end caps of shelves or in the middle of the sales floor you are increasing visibility to that item.

You can place accessories and impulse items next to destination products to help increase the sales total.
