Check with your local Dept of Family and children's services, they may be able to tell you which local dentist's office accept it. If not, you just have to try calling the dentist's offices in your area and ask them if they accept it. Good Luck!

I recommend going to the website for your state and following the links there to determine what dental benefits you have. Generally, there are some basic dental services available through most medicaid programs, but with the development of medicaid HMOs and so on, there is probably a variance in which plans provide what services.
If you have a plastic card for your insurance, there should also be a toll-free number on it that you could call to find out what your specific plan covers.

You should be able to call Medicaid or your caseworker to find out if you are covered as well as who accepts it.
It depends on where you are. In some states Medicaid will cover Dental for everyone but other states it will only cover anyone under 18.
Good Luck !

The majority of local dentists do accept medicaid; however, you should check with them first. Also, you can contact your local DCBS office and your case worker should be able to give you a list of dentists in your area.

You should have gotten a book of providers that take the insurance you have. If you haven't, you need to call the customer service number on the back of the card and get them to send you one. If you have, then just go to the dentist's section, and call the ones you like until you find one that's taking new patients.
If you don't have a provider list, and you don't want to wait to get one, then just type in the name of your insurance and "provider list" in any search engine. They more than likely will have one on line that you can print out.

You are in luck, they recently reinstated dental benefits to medicaid beneficiaries. The hard part is finding a dentist that accepts it. Call your worker to see if they can help you find one, if not that then call around yourself and just ask them if they accept medicaid.

"Most do" ???? Sorry but in most states, most don't. The clinic I work in is the only dental clinic in the county that does, even so, we have to restrict our service area to the city & suburbs - we still have a 2 year wait to get in for that first exam.
Call your social services contact.
