I just wondered if that is just a line guys use or if they usually mean it when they tell a girl that? Also, why would you send mixed signals and call someone all the time and want to see them all the time but not want a relationship? I mean really what is the difference?

It could mean he doesnt like you in that way or it could mean he simply isnt ready for a relationship.
Ask more about it. Maybe he is calling a lot because he wants someone to talk to? If he just got out of a relationship, then maybe hes not quite over that person.

Yes they really mean it. He can just use u and the through you but by saying this he wont just use u. If hes having this line means really hes not ready.

It means he likes you, would like to be with you in a physical way but also wants to leave his options open in case anyone better comes along. In other words, have his cake and eat it too!
