Target, like most retailers, uses an internal signal from either a hard drive (like a pc) or a dvd disk. They also use a signal splitter to run it to all of the tv's.

They sell that play time to vendors also, that's why if you go to a store and see a Sony commercial playing on their tv's. Sony gave them some $ to play it over and over in all of their stores. It's a win-win for the retailer and the manufacturer.

they can connect it to a pc and the pc plays the commercial.
