What's the max. difference between you and your bf's age that you'd be OK with? Do you like older guys? What would you consider to be 'too old' or 'too young' if you saw others together?

Well, my friend when she was 15 and 16 dated a 29 year old. That's way to effin' old. And it was one of the most disgusting things you've ever seen. Uh.. my boyfriend and I are a year and a half apart. I think it's a good age difference. I wouldn't date anyone more than 4 years older than me.

Yet, my grandparents are 11 years apart and have been happily married for 50 some years, so I don't know.

If they could drive before I was born then its too old. I have however fooled around with a 43 year old when I was 24. So that's the closest I've been. I normally like older guys, but usually not more than 10 years.

My boyfriend is 6 years younger than me. I think that's about as young as I would go. On the other end of the spectrum I would go 5 years older.

I say only 5 years because I act and feel younger than I really am and many times I just find an older man is too "mature" for me.

To me, too old is someone who cannot actively keep up with you. Who has to wear depends in case they sneeze...lol, and have children your age or older. Also, if their older than your mom or dad, that's kinda NARSTY!

15 years max for a woman dating an older man.

5 years max for a woman dating a younger man.

I have a friend who is 34 and her husband is 77. That disgusts me. No, he isn't rich and she is very pretty.

I am a woman.

I just developed a crush on this 53 year old guy and I'm only 21! I'd say about that age would be my limit.. I guess I'm just attracted to wiser, older men though.

Too young would probably be 3 years.. I don't want someone too immature.

It depends on your age. The mental and emotional age gap is smaller as you get older. For someone under 18, I'd say no more than 2 years older than yourself. I someone is in their 40's, then they could date someone 55 and still be compatible.

Depending on your age, approximaely 10 years differenceis acceptable, give or take. But if you are young it can be difficult and a smaller gap may be more appropriate. My fiance and I are 8yrs apart with me being the older one.
