I am dating a man who has the "young cheerleader" type of fantasies. I'm talkin' like 12 or 13 yr. olds. He swears he'd never actually touch one...but, that all guys think about those things, and are turned on by them.
In one sense, it really bothers me. But, in another....I see the appeal it has had for guys in things like the Brittney Spears video, where she has on the school girl uniform.
Should I be worried? I have daughters.

it depends , if he is just thinking about it , thats not bad ,, everybody has perverted thoughts, as long as they stay thoughts and fantisies,the fact that he told u about them and that he admits to them is a good thing, it shows trust , its the thoughts that he dose'nt tell u about that is what u may want to think about, ,, tryexperminting, maybe u could dress as a cheerleader, it just be some deep seeded want from childhood, where as a girl of that type would not go out with him, talk to him about , keep ur concerns out in the open, and just go step by step

well, the cheerleader fantasy... okay sure... I can go with that. I think some guys have cheerleader fantasies because it's the whole "apple pie and wholesomeness" thing tieing into naughtiness that gets them--not the actual age of the "cheerleader" (more often than not, anyway). As for the Brittany Spears fantasy... would it have still been "sexy" if Brittany was, say, 12 years old? would it still be cool to look at her in a sexual light? ..definitely not!! ...and if the guy you're dating would think so, then I would have some concerns.
I think for a grown man to have sexual thoughts about a child should be a red flag that there's a problem that goes beyond a mere fantasy.

I would definitely be worried. There's nothing weird about a cheerleader fantasy - it's the 12 or 13 year old part that is concerning! As far as I know, a healthy guy doesn't fantasize about 12 or 13 year olds! Keep him away from you and especially your kids.

If a grown man, that is dating a full grown, beautiful woman, has fantasies about 12 and 13 year old girls............we DEFINITELY have a problem here Houston! In my opinion, if a grown man looks at women, that's natural. We ALL do it, but when he looks at girls, barely old enough for puberty, yes, there is a problem! You have daughters, and I know they're younger than that now, but you need to dump this guy! Not later, NOW! He says that all guys have those type fantasies......there is no way that I, or any of my friends ever look at a young girl that way. He is just trying to justify his actions..that's sick! Plain and simple....sick!

Sorry if he were having fantasies about 17 or 18 year old cheerleaders then I would say it is completely normal and I would suggest you buy a cheerleader outfit and just make his dreams *** true.
But! 12 and 13 year old girls. How old is he 16? It sounds strange to me.
I would worry about having children with a man like this. Sorry.

If you didn't have kids then No. But how much does this turn him on is it to a point you would call a littlle obsessive. If so Get rid of the guy. That's not right. I'm grown man, I do weird stuff. But things to with kidds, That's just SIck. Sorry urghhhhh!!!!

As Long as you Know its fantasy and its not the only fantasy you two act out, I dont think you have cause for concern. Now if he`s asking you to physical resemble a nubile, then yes I would worry.

I would be worried.. normal adult men don't have fantasies about 12 or 13 year old girls because alot of us HAVE daughters, including me.
Be wary or find someone else.

I would worry, I am a dad and have a 14 year old daughter that if anyone was to hurt her i would kill them literally. get away from him with your young ones and notify the police and see what they ask you to do.
