I didn't know they were.

Old Testament Jews, are lost. Just like any unbeliever. Period.
They practice Old Testament teachings, under the OLD Law.

What does the New Testament teach?

Either you are a New Testament chruch and believer, or your not. Bottom line.

Jews WERE, the chosen people. Jesus Christ FULFILLED the Old Testament, and SPIRITUAL JEWS are the chosen people now. meaning= ANYONE, any race, any body, can go the heaven through Jesus Christ.

Only Spirtual Jews through Christ will inherit The New Spiritual Kingdom.

The OLD Testament Jews, have NOTHING ! It is gone.

Until they accept Jesus Christ as they're Savior, they will remain gone.

In Isaiah 9:6-7, it says, Unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given. And what is the name of this son? The "Mighty God" in the next verse.

JESUS CHRIST IS: "THE GOD ALMIGHTY"

Isaiah vs 6:
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Because for thousands of years, they have been believed to create a nation within the nation they inhabit... this occurred even before the time of Christ.

Most rulers/leaders did not appreciate that the Israelites would do this and would feel that they had their own laws whereas they wanted the Israelites to follow the laws of the land.

It was a matter of survival for the Israelites. For thousands of years, misguided leaders would send out orders to convert the Jewish religion to Christianity and the Jewish people would have to convert or face certain death. (When I say Jew or Jewish, I mean the religion - when I say Israelites or Israel, I mean the bloodline.)

The other thing is that for thousands of generations, they have been dubbed as the "Chosen people of God." This was in reference to the fact that the Lord appointed curtain tribes of Israel to go out into the world to preach the Gospel of the Lord ("The Law of Moses"). In the Christian bible, it states that since this was not done, the Lord had sent Christ for the people that did not know the Lord.

As the Israelites loved their Kind David, they expected their King and subsequently the King of the World to come to us as David did. However this was not that case since the Christ came to us a humble servant to the people and to the Lord. After the death and Resurrection of the Christ, many new Christians were being persecuted by the Jews as was stated by Paul in the New Testament.

Many felt this was unjust and turned the tables around to persecute the Jews when only a select number where actually committing these acts of persecution to the Christians.

The hatred between the Jews and Christians have been a war of the minds for generations because one people are the older brother of the other and the other are the Chosen People of the Lord.

There are many other details and layers of unjust acts committed by people within both factions, when in reality there is a root problem that has not been dealt with.

One major item in history is that most of the most wonderful story tellers in history has been the Jewish culture, even today. They have written the Bible and many Jews are found within the entertainment business today. This source is of Adam Sandler (a Jew) himself as he sung a song about how many Jews are in Hollywood and the show business.

Other item is that the Jews have have their own historical documents and have clearly stated that Jesus did walk this planet, but have stated that he was not the Son of God - only a good man. Jesus, being the most influential figure in history, said he was not here for the Jews, only those that did not know God - because God had already and will always dwell with the Jews and Israel.

It also states in the New Testament that many will come in Christ's name but lie and will deceive many. It also states that there will be people that state they are Jews but are not and are of Satan himself.

This is a very delicate subject because this has been what many have lived and died for - and will continue until the coming of the Messiah.

it could be because that is how they were raised. they don't know that they are being prejudice. if they do know and don't care mabey they haven't had a reason to change. for some reason there are people that put others down to make themselves look/feel better or mabey they are just TRYING to be mean. prejudice isn't good whether it be against religion, race, sex or anything for that matter. hopfully the people that are being criticized learn and gain strength from others actions.

I'm not. I have no religion, so it doesn't matter to me what faith anyone is.

People are prejudiced for many different reasons. Sometimes they are ignorant, sometimes they are afraid, mostly they have been brought up where it is normal to think like that and are simply victims of their own society.

I suppose we just have to hope for as much open-mindedness as possible. And I'm sure the majority of the world are not prejudiced towards Judaism or Jews, so try not to worry! ;-)

I don't know that they are anymore. It used to be that way a lot. I think more people are open minded now, but you will always find someone who does not like something about someone.
