You're only the devil's daughter if you believe in the devil. If you don't feel comfortable at those areas, try going to a quiet area. Such as the lake, the beach, the forest, anywhere you feel comfortable where you can talk to your god is fine. Heck when you need to talk to some of your friends, you don't necessarily have to go at their homes, you can stay at your home, on the phone. Same thing, talk to your god at your home.

No, you are not the devils daughter. I think you probably just have not found the right religious temple. Everyone is different, and everyone will feel confortable in a different temple. One day you might find the right one. Or you will be the kind of person (like me) who just feels confrotable worshiping in their own way outside of a church.

The devil has a lot of daughters and sons( mostly daughters ), I think. You are not the only one. You are just one of the only people in this world who don't sell their minds to bullshit. plus satanism is a religion, too so even if you were the devils daughter that does't explain why you would feel uncomfortable in a religious site. but i know what you mean.

Maybe you just have not found the right one. I used to be the same way until I found a place with people who were more like me. Perhaps you might be more comfortable if you looked outside the box for groups that don't worship so traditionally or crazy or whatever it is that makes you uncomfortable about them(and no I'm not talking about a cult, lol). Just some place with people more like yourself. Good luck!

God would never call you that. Your heart tells you God is not just confined in a building. We all know that. Churches often seem archaic, antiquated, old-- out of it. Perhaps it's because they were built a long time ago, but that doesn't mean that the message should come across old and irrelevant. God doesn't want you to feel that. I suggest you join a Bible study at someone's house. Just call a Christian church (Calvary Chapel, Vineyard, Calvary Church, Presbyterian, etc.) and ask if they have a Bible study where you could learn more about the Bible and God.

Don't be beguiled by your feelings. Jesus is Real. The Bible is the best book in the world and offers wisdom that is practical. You can be built up in the inner girl so you're not like a dead fish going with the flow-- downstream.

Watch your inner self-talk. Build yourself up in the inner girl. Fill your thoughts with whatever is good, honest, valuable, wise. Sing songs that do not keep God out of your life. I like a few current songs: (this is God speaking: "Just to be with YOU, I would do anything . . .") and I like the old ones too, liike:
"Turn your eyes upon Jesus, Look full in His wonderful face. And the things of earth will grow strangely dim in the light of His glory and grace."

You might want to do a study in God's word -- Be serious. Take God and your own life seriously. Afterall, we only have this one life to live. Maybe you want to know: What is Grace? Look up the word in a concordance -- some Bibles have one in the back of it.

Maybe you'd like to know about some character in the Bible more-- like David who is said to be a man after God's heart. Yet he sinned greatly. Read all about him in I Samuel 16 +. Get real with God, and He will get real with you. The Bible is relevant. It's a compilation of true stories and prophecies to come true. Nothing could be more helpful and relevant for us.

God is available, but He is a gentleman, and perhaps unlike many churches, not into control. He won't barge in. In Revelation 3:20 he states, "Behold, I stand at the door and knock and if anyone hears my voice and opens the door I will come in to him and sup with him and he with me."

See-- God wants a valuable, vital relationship -- friendship with you. There is no one who wants better for you! But remember He is God. We need to learn His ways since they are higher and better.

The place where we talk and learn about God is secondary to what is REAL and important. Places of worship are everywhere -- sometimes in industrial complexes, but often people don't want to get married in these. They want the "traditional" looking church to get married in. That's just individual's choices, which is fine.

Most of all, God cares about you. He loves you so much that He took care of the sin that keeps you separate from Him, since He is holy. It is vital that you understand this. Our culture today think anything is okay. That's not true. God gave us the 10 commandments to help us understand what is good for us and how God is special and holy. He also knows that we all sin and fall short of these and His holiness.

God bless you in your search.

Thanks for the opportunity to talk to you.

Well, you made it as far as the religious section of the Yahoo Answers site so there's hope for you yet!

Matthew 19:25 When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved? 26 But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.

Remember "The Omen" (the old version is better). Damian freaked out when they took him near a church. Can you kill people using your mind? Then you're probably the anti-christ.
