I have been married for 3 yrs. but I still talk to my ex on the phone behind my wife's back. We don't talk about anything intimate just friendly talk, like friends. She calls me at work about 4 times a week and when we do talk it's just fun. Once in a while she will say that she wanted to call me over the weekend on her way home from the club or something like that. She is recently divorced and in a serious relationship. I often get the feeling that she wants something to happen between us but is just afraid to ask. Like, her and 3 friends recently went to the beach and she invited me, knowing of course that I couldn't go. She always comes to me for advice and to talk to when things are going bad or good. My question is, does she want me back after 9 yrs or is she just being a friend?

sounds like to me she wants you back, I'm sure you current wife wouldn't like you talking to her like this. Steer clear of her or its going to mess up your marriage.

She probably realises that she has lost the most impartant man in her life (you), and fully knowing that you're taken and that you're married, she now just wants to be friends even though she might have considered something else in the back of her mind. Even if she thought of something else, she herself is in a serious relationship and she wouldn't want to jeopardize anything that she has with her partner. Both of you have moved on with your lives and there's nothing binding you to each other except fo the friendship that you have.
If you'd like you can talk to your wife and explain the cituation, tell her that you're just being friends with your ex and are NOT planning anything else. Even though it might come as a shock to her, she'll understand what you're telling her (as long as you mean it).

Have you lost your mind? Do you not love your wife? Going behind your wifes back talking with another women, regardless if its your ex. is CHEATING! Stop right now before you lose your relationship with your wife b/c when she finds out, she will lose all trust in you. Theres no harm in talking with an ex if you have kids, buts about it. And DON'T do behind your wifes back.

Hey, you better watch yourself Buddy! This is close to emotional cheating. You know your wife would be po'd if she knew that you were still talking to your ex. You need to sever those ties and remember WHY she is an ex and WHY you have a new wife.

If you talk to your ex- girlfriend behind your wife back i think you dont love your wife has much has your ex-girlfriend . there is rule you can't be just a friend with a ex-girlfriend or boyfriend because they might fall back in love with that person .

she still has a lot of feelings for you but for now she is just a really good buddy in her eyes and trusts you more than anyone but your wife will think differently if you dont tell her out of your own will that your ex is calling for your advice, or your wife will find out, she WILL find out and it wont be pleasant.

Make your intentions clear when you are with this woman. she needs to get the message that you are married and you want it to stay that way. If you keep talking to her, make sure she is aware of that.
