1. Except for their driving skills (the worst I have ever seen) the Thais are the most wonderful people I have ever met. They are kind, friendly, have manners that would put a British gentleman to shame, and enjoy life to the fullest, even when they work. It must be the buddhism. They try to make their whole life "sà-nòok" (fun). The only unpleasant Thais I met were the "tuk-tuk" drivers and the prostitutes who wouldn't take "no thanks" for an answer (even when I was with my girlfriend, they would offer sex).
2. The food. Aside from Mediterranean food (Greek, Spanish, Italian, Morrocan, etc.) I have never seen, smelt or eaten food more aromatic, more beautifully presented, and more enjoyable to eat. Again, it's part of "sà-nòok".
3. The muslims. It was the first time I saw a burqa with my own eyes instead of on TV or in pictures. While the muslims were not unpleasant, the threat of violence by the separatist lunatics made me wary. (We didn't know there were so many there when we chose the town we stayed in.)

Firstly the hospitality of the Thai people. They are very accommodating people that foreigners tend to take advantage of them, just because they do not complain or retaliate. I only wish foreigners can respect them for being who they are, especially the guys.
Secondly it is the food. They have some of the best tasting food around. And real Thai food is not necessary spicy or hot.
Thirdly will be the scenery. I had been around and do get fascinated by what the Thais have in their country and the beautiful natural scenery at different provinces.
One of my best travel destinations.
