if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14
(1) Humble yourself...
(2) Seek God's face...
(3) Turn from wicked ways...
Isn't this the message of true repentance? I know unbelievers will read this too, that's why I'd like Christians to endorse this with their comments.

Usually when people refer to that verse they do it in prayer that God will cause that to happen in the United States before it's too late and his wrath comes upon our land.

Yes of course! I like to think of the story a "Christmas Carol".Scrooge is brought to the realization that he is a terrible sinner and has remorse,he is humbled by it,he seeks God and cries for forgiveness,he then is filled with the Holy Spirit (the Christmas Spirit)and turns from his wicked ways and goes on to make his wrongs, right.I think that's great picture of being born again.

Yes I agree with you. This is true repentance. We are called to be always humble of heart as Jesus was, to always seek God in all things and to turn from wicked ways and do good to ourselves and all others. In this, Our Heavenly Father will be well pleased with us.

it is a message of repentance.Jesus Christ tells us that we should be as innocent as children, for the heart of a child is pure and innocent, only adults are subject to immoral corruption.so humble yourself and, turn from your wicked sinful ways,and you will find the innocence of a child in your heart....and God. a person that lives in sin will never find peace.

Yes; it happens daily-- I blow it. I just burned the french toast for my family answering this. I'm learning ... I better be with my family for one so I can talk to them about the Bible and God sending Jesus to pay for our sins.
Seeking God's face -- just like the sunshine warms us inside, Knowing God loves us from the inside out and seeing that in the beautiful and complex creation shows how much God has put around us to remind us of Him.
