Yes, they are supposed to fit snug, but not too tight. You definitely want to make sure they are still loose enough to leave enough space on the tip for the semen. If not, you for sure want to get a larger size. From your description, it seems he definitely needs a larger size. One sure way to tell, is if he (or you) has trouble rolling it on. If so, try a larger size like Magnum makes.

they are suppossed to be a lil tight, but not painful, i was with a guy once, and he was wearing a Magnum, and it was still too small.after he put it on, it poped, it was funny. but yeah , he needs to try magnums, made by trojan. if that is still too small , go to a sex store, and get really big ones. GOOD LUCK

i would get the normal ones and then a large one and have him try them one and see which one fits better..and the normal ones are supposed to be tight
