You might not like this as an answer but it takes hard work. You might have to go through some pain to get there. You don't mind that though right?
Besides the normal exercises you can add the wheel that you hold and roll out. Start on your knees and roll all the way out. Do sets of five. When you can build up to the point of doing it from your toes instead of your knees you'll be in fine shape. Also, practicing getting hit there with a sparring partner and taking in a breath each time will condition you to do it subconsciously.

you sound like the type that when you say "street fight" you mean "picking on someone defensless". I`ve met more people like you than I can remember. Stick to the ring, the street fighting is for big boys!(just your first sentence makes you sound like the type of kid who carries a shiv incase you are too pissed to fight fair),try acting mature to be taken as mature.Boxing is a sport (sometimes an art form) not an excuse to go out kicking **** out of people!.Ive been Boxing for 25years and have only had 2 fights on the street (but plenty more working the doors). No matter how much work you do on your abs/ribs it will always hurt if you get it in the right spot.

If you're into street fights and getting drunk all the time then I doubt you have the dedication or discipline to be anything of a proficient boxer.

Stick to street fighting and concentrate on getting punched in the head to protect your body.

Sit ups. They don't cost anything and you can do them anywhere. I do 1000 a day.

Cut out the heavy dinking too, the drink softens you up.
