I just made the best pie! There is no oven-time involved - it's completely bake-free! Try it, you'll love it...

BLACK-BOTTOM BANANA CREAM PIE

4 tbsp. butter, divided
14 Golden Oreo Cookies, finely crushed ( I just used crushed graham crackers - it worked fine)
4 squares semi-sweet baking chocolate
2 large bananas, sliced
1 pkg (4-serving size) instant vanilla pudding mix
1 1/2 cups cold milk
1 cup thawed Cool Whip topping

1)Melt 2 tbsp of the butter, place in a med. bowl. Add crushed cookies; mix well.

2)Press mixture firmly onto the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie plate; set aside.

3)MIcrowave chocolate and remaining 2 tbsp butter in microwaveable bowl on medium for 1 min; stir until chocolate is completely melted. Spread evenly onto bottom of crust; set aside.

4)Preapare dry pudding mix with (only) 1 1/2 cups milk as directed on package. Top chocolate with bananas; pour pudding evenly over bananas. Refigerate at least 4 hours or up to 24 hours (I had it in the fridge for 2 hours and it was ready). Top with whipped topping just before serving.

Now the next time I make this pie (and I will be making it!) I think I'll spread peanut butter on top of the chocolate layer. Of course you have to wait til the chocolate hardens. Also make sure that your bananas a quite ripe, they taste better that way. Enjoy!

here is a recipe for a light and refreshing summer cake.
Use your favorite boxed cake mix to make a white or yellow cake, bake in a 9 x 13 pan.

To make the topping use... 1 small container Cool Whip, a small can mandarin oranges very well drained, 1 small can crushed or tidbit pineapple very well drained.

Pull or cut the oranges into smaller pieces and add to cool whip along with the drained pineapple. Mix cool whip, oranges and pineapple well and spread on top of the cake. Cake needs to stay in the fridge until ready to serve.

This cake is absolutely delicious and has fewer calories than a cake frosted with icing.....our kids love it!

You should make Summer Delight Cake, it's one of my favorites, heres the recipe:
Ingredients:
1 angel food cake, homemade or purchased
1 quart orange or lime sherbet, softened
1 quart lemon sherbet, softened
16 ounces frozen whipped topping, thawed
PREPARATION:
Sliced cake horizontally into 3 layers, place each layer on a plate. Spread orange sherbet on 1 cake layer, and freeze. Spread lemon sherbet on 1 cake layer, and freeze. Place lemon layer on top of lime layer, and top with remaining cake layer. Spread whipped topping on top and sides of cake. Freeze. Once completely frozen, wrap in aluminum foil until ready to serve. Serves 10 to 12 people

I don't know the name of it, but you take the bucket/bowl thing of regular whip cream, a box of vanilla wafers, and a can of pudding, mine was butterscotch, you take the vanilla wafers, and lightly crush them into a bowl, chunks are good, then you take the pudding and poor it in, stir it, then dump the whole thing of whip cream in, and let it sit for at least an hour in the refrigerator.
