Sounds like. You need to go to urgent care or the ER. It will only get worse and untreated can damage your kidneys!

It could be. What I do when I have a kidney infection or my sides hurt because of WAY to much caffine (my 4 cups of coffee in morning and tea all day long) is I drink a cup of Alka-Seltzer... I can almost feel the flushing of the kidneys right away. I like the cherry flavor the best... then finish off with a nice glass of water.

First of all, you may do urine-routine analysis. Urinalysis may disclose blood, pus, casts, albumin, minute crystals and other abnormal things in the urine. Kidney stone may be one of the reasons for back pain. Drink 15 glasses of water daily.
Consult a Nephrologist.
Please see the webpages for more details on Nephritis (inflammation of kidneys) and Kidney stone.

I couldn't just sit around and do nothing like my doctors suggested.
They didn't want me to do anything or to take herbs or herbal remedies, but I had to try something - they just wanted me to do dialysis!
This program allowed me to take control of my health. I went from Stage 4 to Stage 3 kidney disease.
It was easy to do and my BUN, creatinine and anemia are all in better ranges.

What is it you want to know?
If you can't get to see a doctor or pharmacist try drinking plenty of water to flush out your system. If this doesn't work you will need to seek medical advice.
