NO! Do NOT use 2 patches!!!!! You can get so sick from that because it will give you way too much nicotine at once.

But aside from that, call a quit hotline and they will give you all the help and advice you need. Way better than anything you can get on Yahoo. My boyfriend used the SmokeAway pills and they worked great at first until he ran out of the little pills that are supposed to help with cravings. Although he was a heavy smoker (15 or so a day), so it was probably harder. If you don't smoke too much, you can try that out.

Good luck with whatever you decide to do! And it's great that you are aware of the health risks and trying to quit! You can do it!!!!!

no no no no no dont use 2 of the patchs. Ok those patchs also have a set amount of nicotine in them so that each time you put one on it gets less and less till you fight the craving. If anyone else smokes in your house then tell them to go out side or away from you becuase your trying to quit. Get rid of all cigarettes in the house. Also dont go into any stores that sell them as well trust me if you keep this up you can kick this nasty habit.

No...that would be like putting 2 cigarettes in your mouth at the same time! Go for a long walk but don't sit to rest because the minute you sit, you'll want a cigarette.

Two of them is too much. Do yourself a favor, and get a case of bottled water. Get some crystal light to go packets. every time you want a cigarette, drink a bottle of water. Besides occupying your mouth, the extra water will help to flush out the toxins from smoking. Also, brush your teeth several times a day with some very minty toothpaste. It will help your teeth and gums, as well as giving your mouth a rejuvenating treatment.

I smoked for 15 years and I quit last August with the help of Lifesavers wint-o-green mints. Every time I wanted a ciggarette, I poped a mint in and was O.K. No patches or anything. Give it a try. Good luck.

It is going to be hard at first, but try doing things to keep your mind off wanting a cigarette, like when you get the craving for one,go for a walk,or chew gum,or go to the gym, just keep yourself busy.

Well the problem is the nicatine. It's very addictive, and especially once you've smoked for a year (at least) its really hard to let go!
Just search for anything thats good...
If you really need help, contact a certain kind of doctor to see if they can find you something.
