ok if i dont get windows xp upgrade how can i get vista dont u need xp on ur pc already to do that?? also how much do u think that vista will cost??

Most of the time the Microsoft OS will allow upgrades from several different older versions of the OS. My guess is that they will probably allow upgrades from Win 98 or better. The big difference in Vista is the hardware requirements. Many of today's computers will have a hard time running Vista smoothly unless it is a high end system. Again my guess up the Vista upgrade will be around $110-120+ and about $200 for the non-upgrade version.

go to www.microsoft.com/download it will provide all the updates you want. no idea about vista's cost.
