Try to let your students learn English language with the help of popular songs. Kids (in case you teach kids and not adults though) love to find out what their favourite singer/group is actually singing about. Later on kids should get pen friends to communicate with or try to join any English speaking club or similar. That'll help. By the way, I'm German and did it just this way. And my English is not the worst ;))

Well it was hard because of all the confusing terms. There was a long, hard word for every part of a sentence that I had to memorize. I also found it hard to memorize all the different kinds of sentences. I found it really boring and difficult. Since I am homeschooled my mom help me with things but I still had to study and memorize everything. I wish there was a more intersting way of learning 8th grade English.

I think a lot of students have problems with pronouns & adjectives. I have been out of school 16 years & my 15 year old daughter said she had problems with it so I came up with a stategy to help. It is really hard to explain how I got her to understand it better. Lets say for instance when the adjective is not in front of the subject, she found it difficult in that situation.

I only have trouble studying english when forget that I actually don't have to follow all the rules. Let your students be creative and show they're person lieks and dislikes. Make it real and exciting and be random to keep their attention. My English teacher is awsome because he is open minded and smokes pot.

At first it was difficult but later on discussing with others in english inspite of speaking in wrong manner helps a lot. Correct your students when wrong in frienldly manner and keep on encouraging them.
