Eat several (5-6) small meals a day...your body will burn calories faster and build your metabolism in a short period of time.
(eat about every 2 hours)
The first 8-10 pounds you shed is water.
Meal suggestions:
1st: piece of fruit
2nd: string cheese, summer sausage, cottage cheese/yogurt
3rd: bowl of cereal
4th: soup/sandwich
5th: a good dinner-meat, potatoes/pasta/rice, veggie...your body needs carbs, protein and vitamins to stay healthy
6th: salad/raw veggies
Drink plenty of water
Drink milk or juice/water with every meal (no soda pop)
Stay away from munchies, fried & fatty foods.
Do simple exercise like walking/hiking...swimming and biking are low impact, playing games like basketball, baseball, volleyball will tone your body and you'll have fun doing it.

Walk 3 miles a day. Every day. Work up to 6 miles.

Park you car as far form the door at work, the mall, Wal-Mart, etc. as possible and walk.

Take the stairs, not the escalator or elevator.

At work, don't call people on the phone if they work in the same building. Get up and go see them face-to-face if at all possible.

Skip the fad diets. Cut down on fats, but that's about it.

This should help you safely lose 15 lbs in about 3 - 6 months and keep it off. There might be quicker ways, but you'll find that this is extremely easy and very healthy and the weight will STAY off! You'll also feel better and have more energy.

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.

The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.

Get started today!

I'm about to start a cleansing process by eating lots of fruits and veggies. NO BREAD at all!!! Drinking lots and lots of water helps with the weight loss process. Not just a couple of glasses either, I mean drink more than ten glasses if you can. This will keep you running to the bathroom alot but it is crucial to do this in order to drop pounds. I will be walking twice a day. Once in the morning and once in the evening. I will also be doing lots of leg lifts and crunches to aid in the weight loss process. I know the excercise sounds terrible but you will be surprised how much weight you lose. I have also tried the Slimfast program before and lost 12 lbs a week just by drinking two shakes a day, as much fruit as I wanted
(grapes are great to help keep you regular which is key) lots of water and 1 Lean Cuisine meal in the evening or at lunch (You can interchange when you want to have the Lean Cuisine meal.) I hope this helps!! Let me know okay? Maybe we can track each others progress?

Healthy diet that is balanced, lots of water, plenty of exercise (balanced between cardio, strengthening, AND flexibility) and try to keep a positive outlook on your progress. I just wanted to add to remember that after the first week when you lose a lot of "water weight", it is safe for your body to lose 1-2 pounds a week. I also heard in a weight loss seminar at work a couple years ago, that you generally should aim to lose no more than 10% of your body weight in 6 months. They said people who lost weight more consistently but at a slow steady pace kept the weight off longer or for life, versus people who crash dieted and lost 15 pounds in 1 week.... Sorry I don't have those articles any longer, but the info about 1-2 lb a week is all over the net. Good luck!

You lose fat on your whole body at once by doing cardio
That means elevating your heart rat. Get a heart monitor, get your heart rate to: (220-your age)x .60 at least. Then keep it there for at least 30 mins per day, at least 3 times per week.

Secondly you can stop your body from making fat by cutting out sugar, alcohol, white bread, white potatoes, and anything with a glycemic index above 55.

Lastly try never to eat a meal over 400 calories
That means eating smaller meals. 4 meals at 400 calories each
And a few 100 calorie snacks-that works for me.

The whole idea is not to spike your blood sugar. Overeating with big meals, eating sugar, or high fat foods, or drinking alcohol spikes your blood sugar. That makes your body produce insulin.
Insulin’s big job is “TURN THAT EXTRA SUGAR INTO FAT”

Ergo: no sugar spike, no insulin, no insulin, no fat production.

If you really know what type of foods you should eat for weight loss there are certain foods that are beneficial and certain you should avoid.

Drink sufficient pure water -- your weight divided by 2 = ounces per day. Take fluids between meals, using reverse osmosis purified water, unsweetened juices, and herbal beverages. Try liquid chlorophyll in pure water, it is delicious and refreshing!

*A minimum of 50% of your food should be alive -- fresh, raw, unprocessed. Dead food cannot build strong bodies. Eat foods in season and foods that can spoil. (But eat them before they spoil, of course!)More is preferable!

*Eliminate foods used in a microwave. Try to eliminate using the microwave for anything you eat or drink.

*Eliminate processed sugars and white flour and any foods that contains these; i.e., read labels.
Substitute whole grain foods for white -- stone ground whole wheat, brown rice, etc.

*Avoid all stimulants. They are very hard on the adrenal glands. (Coffee, cigarettes, chocolate, cola drinks, alcohol, aspirin, black tea -- herbal tea acceptable.)

There is plenty more. Check the source for the complete list.

quick, easy and healthy do not always gey along! I would adjust the priorities to healthy, easy then quick. focus on choosing healthy low fat foods in the correct portion sizes initially you'll want to measure and weigh foods to be sure you are not over eating. snack but again not too much, you don't want to get super hungry because that leads to overeating. Be sure to get enough sleep. And then there is exercise! yep it all comes down to diet , sleep and exercise.
