Most of the ones I have seen are 1.5 qt. Look on Amazon.com, even if you end up buying elsewhere. They have customer reviews for most products and that way you can get a good sense of the quality. The same is true for a few things on Target.com as well.

You might also try your local Goodwill or Thrift Shops. Additionally, try your local hardware stores, yard sales, and sometimes, pawn shops. (FYI I remember the good old days when we had to 'hand crank' ice cream every Sunday afternoon)
