I doubt it. There doesn't seem to be much interest from the federal government to put one together. If one does eventually happen, I would like it to be run by the guys that run either the Nevada or New Jersey commissions since they usually have the bigger fights.

It would be great to see more safety measures and uniformity in boxing regulations. The problem is that Congress would have to create it, and they don't always do things that need to be done. Sen. John McCain was trying to do just this, but the way things work in Congress meant that they ended up tacking something else onto it so even after it got through the Senate, it was shot down by the House of Representatives. Unfortunately, this is one of the reasons people don't put much faith in the goverment. The links below have a little info on what happened with the bill.
