make sure u realy want to go out with ur friend, also try to find out if they feel a similer way. if u get rejected u can still have ur friendship, just act like nothing happened. try to flirt, if ur friend wants to go out with u, u can tell by flirting

In my opinion, the best thing to do is to be honest with her. Tell your bro that he needs to talk with her. If she doesn't want that kind of relationship with him, then he'll need to accept that, move on, and still be friends. If he can't accept that, then I'm sure she'll drop him. He just needs to be prepared for the answer he doesn't want to recieve, that way it won't be a big surprise. Good luck.

I fell in love with my friend and I was afraid of ruining our friendship too. (we've been friends 4 like 6 years) I just told her how I feel and when I felt that she liked me back I just asked her out. (she said yes by the way)
