Is she really in love? If she is, I would encourage her not to marry too quickly. He isn't so old that their courtship couldn't go on for a year or two. There are some things that these two age groups do not share. If she is a very conservative girl and fits into a 50 year old's lifestyle, then it could work. She will not have him around for her whole life. If it is real love, then it is worth having him in her life for whatever time they have. A friend of mine married a nice man and he died within a year. It was the best year of her life. He really, really loved her. It is different with each person.

You don't think that's kind of skanky and gross? We have an old geezer who sub-leases space in our offices where we work and he is old like in his 60's and he is an ugl man - both inside and out. He's a real mean creep! Anyway, he has a young STUPID secretary who is about 20 and he's helping to pay for her schooling. He would probably still pay, but she's sleeping with him and the rest of us are just shy of puking our guts out!!! Granted she's no hottie, but she can definitely do better!

sweetie, you have your whole life ahead of you. this man already lived his life. i was married to a 46 yr old man at the time i was 24. we had nothing in common. the things that i wanted to do he did not enjoy what so ever. i could not be around my friends or go outside. it was a bad experience. think about what you are about to do. remember you are only 22. your young. enjoy your youth.

absoulutly. I think your its very mature female who wishes to marry a mature man. But yshe realizes even the men 5 years older than her aren't so mature. so she eventually eventually falls in love with him.
OR
It was an arranged marriage, the girl really had no choice. so after she married she kinda fell in love with the mans personality and mentality. And they live happily ever after.

doesn't mater what your religion is, but think about it he's your father's age, and he is going to expect you to act like a 40 year old, but if you are sure that you love him then marry him. but please think about it first its your life
