It depends on the person, normally you will find that only insecure people will go about it that way as they always feel that they might just need to keep that person as a backup for future reference. pretty nasty hey.

I think that's somewhat true, for me. I find it hard to do anything that might hurt someone's feelings. I'll waffle around the issue as long as I can, even though I know I need to tell the truth asap, it's just so difficult!

I think guys are more sensitive than girls give them credit for...sometimes we just don't want to hurt your feelings. We'd rather come up with some other reason other than tell you straight out....so to answer your question...yes. Having said that...the truth always comes out in the end.

Nobody likes getting dumped. It sucks. Sometimes it sucks JUST as much for the dump-er as for the dump-ee...I think women are better at it because they're more intuitive, they're better at giving you the bad news without making you feel like a single-cell organism...or CAN be, if they so choose...

I try to not hurt someone's feelings in the off chance that the karmic backlash may not crush me when it's my turn for rejection. ( And I have had loads of experience with rejection.) Also, if you are cruel to the opposite sex, word tends to get around.
