I really cant say how but, if it was me I would want to be around everyone I loved and I would want to make things right before I left. I would want everyone to celebrate my life rather than to be sad. Death is only feard because of the unknown but, it should be looked at as a new beginning instead of the end. Be thankfull for the life you have lived and for the ones who love you because none of us know when our time will be. Take nothing for granted and leave no stone unturned. I wish you well on your journey.

I am sorry that you are suffering from this illness. The fact of the matter is that we are all going to die eventually. That probably does not bring you much comfort especially since you are suffering from a particular illness. I cannot imagine a single answer that would give you what you need in order to face what you are going through. I can say that I have gone through many things in my life and the one thing that has brought me comfort was knowing Jesus Christ as my savior. Knowing Christ as my savior has given me confidence for life after death. I do not mean a vague spiritual sense of the term "life after death." I mean most assuredly Jesus said that the one who believes in Him and is born again will have eternal life with God the Father in heaven. Heaven does not come based on good works. It doesnt matter how good a life you have lived. We all fall short of God's perfection. The fact that God is perfect makes Him Holy. That means that He is set apart and pure. If He is set apart and pure and we are not then we cannot possibly have a right relationship with Him in heaven. We cannot even abide with Him in heaven because He said that He wouldnt allow it. So in order to make it possible for us, He sent His Son Jesus Christ onto the world to die Himself for our sins (imperfections) so that those who believed that He died for them would have eternal life. In the book of John 3:16 it says "God so loved the world that He gave his only son that whoever believes in him will not perish but have everlasting life." We are all created to live eternally. The question is where will you spend eternity once this body dies. Most everyone will die physically. Only a few will live eternally with God. Those who will have believed in Jesus Christ.
I say all of this because if you know what Jesus Christ has done and believe in Him then death is no longer a frightening thing. I was at one point terrified of death. But I am no longer. Diseases and illnesses are real and painful. I dont pretend to think that you should think pleasantly about your illness or about approaching death. But if you believe in Jesus Christ, that He died for your sins, then you can know for sure that when you die (whenever that may be) you can rest with God in heaven for all eternity.
I hope that will help.

If I were in that position I would come to terms with the people in my life as much as I could. Make sure they are OK and talk to them so they don't have any unresolved issues with me. I would also try to make whatever amends to anyone I have hurt in my life. Once I have done these 2 things I would concentrate on accepting my fate. Being catholic I would talk to a priest,. have a heart searching confessional. Once all this were done I think I would be able to wait for the end (I hope I would)
Peace to you. I hope your passing is gentle!

First of all, I am sorry for your pain. And, I admire your courage.

I, also, have a serious illness. With luck, it will not be fatal, though. So, I have put a lot of thought into this, myself. I, also, helped take care of many relatives who were terminal. And, have read a lot about the process.

The best way to face it, is to realize that God really does have infinite wisdom. Have faith....that He knows what He is doing. It sounds cliche'....but, everything that happens, really is for a reason.

Try not to be afraid. What is happening to you is a part of nature. Just as being born was. You aren't going to cease to be. You are merely going to pass through a gate, of sorts....into another place. That the rest of us just cannot see, yet. But, we will all be joining you, shortly.

I have read in the Bible....that when we pass....there will be someone we know there to greet us. And, keep in mind...that God loves us, as we love our own children.....even more! He will take care of you. And, "you" are not that shell of a body.....that houses your spirit.

As for the ones you are leaving behind....this is going to be really difficult. But, it is all part of the process of life. I learned so much from the loss of my father.....I became a much better person. I learned what really matters, in this life. This is all just part of God's plan.....for them, too.

Have faith....have courage....trust that God is going to take care of you. He is our "Father". And, isn't that what a father does....take care of his children?

If you feel like reading.....there are books by Elizabeth Kubler Ross, that I highly recommend. She spent her life with terminal patients, and studying death. And, her books tell you what I am, essentially telling you, now.

You are getting ready for a journey. Just going to a different place. It is that simple.

My heart and my prayers are with you. Email me if you need to talk. I will be very honest and open with you. God bless!

Pray with psalms. Repent and seek help from God. You have to have faith. Many people have been told by their hospitals etc that they dont have long to live and it has not been the case. I have witnessed that and a person who was death bed 6 years ago is still alive and kicking

Thank god for what he gave you and what he not
if u r physically fit...do some social service
if not...send peace and love to all

and dont worry...you will come back and will be given another chance to live fully

It is not the length of life which matters...it is the fullness of life which is important

Remember that this is not the end.

Your purpose is to serve God. Ecclesiastes 12:13 ¶Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.

If you have done this - if you are doing this - then death is a reward, not something to fear. Philippians 1:21 ¶For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.

contemplate the following:

everything in the past is simply a memory
everything you fear in the future is just a dream

Remember, you are here now, you are always here now. You are only here now.

Pay less attention to your memories and dreams and focus on experiencing: peace, love, acceptance, joy, forgiveness, compassion, perfection and oneness, here in the infintie moment of now
