Well if are really interested in gettinf into the armed force... first of all you must make up your mind which brach(service) to join up first....

Then make sure you have the minimum required eligiblity criteria for the service opting for (army, airforce and navy... each have different physical requirement)

Then keep an eye on the employement new?rozgar samachar.... you will find advirtisments calling for CDSE exams.... remember only gradtuates are eligible and also make sure of your age limit as stipulated (varies for certain categories like reserved caste or for people from the N.E...etc...)

Then after you fillup the form in the paper and send it (or even before that for those whom are really interested) try an get any CDSE guide or question bank..(any will do...even local... its just to give u the general idea of how the question will be.........)
The exams usually have basic simple mathematics,history,geography..etc..... i am sure you might not find it difficult to clear after you clear it (results will be put up on the official website a few days after the exam)...then comes the SSB interview which is something that might need a proffessional coaching to clear effectively.. its tough.. but if u r confident and have goo command over english and decent comm. skills along with proper physciological perception u will get through.........

1st Do your homework an try to find sample exams so you know what to study.
2nd Ask others, many, who have taken the test at different times, different years what to expect.
3rd Look up essays on google about defense- locally, nationally, and globally
4th Ask those who work in, or have ever worked in the field what their job is and how it has changed over the years.
5th Most of these tests are basic but if the one you want is more specific you are going to have to know that- that is why I say "ask question" and prepare
6th Get enough sleep the night before- no hangovers- relax and be PREPARED

Good luck and make sure you have thought it through what you want to do- everything we do give us expierence but you do not want the expeierce to be painful.

The exam has nothing to do with the military. It covers basic skills that you learned (or should have) in high school. If you are organized, efficient, and have basic math and logic skills you have nothing to worry about. If this does not sound like you, it's still not a problem. The military is in such bad shape today they wll take total retards.
