I hope what you feel is true. in case if you are not & if you confront them, you will hurt them & leave bad memory for a life time. Was it big money. Did you consider that there could be some emergency and either of them must have borrowed it and not told you. Has it ever happened it earlier? Remember that no one touches someone's purse without a reason. Can you think of some reason. Think, recollect, observe. Have you forgotten something. Did you make a promise and not honour it? You can ask them politely. Give them chance to correct their mistake. Talk to them effectively so that it will not be repeated in future.

Incase you feel that non of the above is true then try to find out if any extravagent expense was suggested which you refused or were likely to refuse or someone has got some wrong habit which lead to stealing?
Then you must definately find out who did it. You have to be tactful and handle it in such a way that you find who did it and take appropriate action so that they get discouraged to repeat it in future.
all the best

You must be from outside the U.S.. Men usually have "wives" & men never carry a "purse". And I don't know what you mean by "start fast".
If it were me, I'd ask them who's been taking money. If that didn't clear things up, I would just not leave my money or my "purse" where they could get into it.

Give the purse to your wife. Us men use wallets and stow them in the back pocket of our pants. If you keep your money inside that wallet, chances are that you will still have the money when you want to use it. Try to give your kids an allowance weekly so they have their own money, and let your wife have spending money too. Thats what I do and it works.

Confont them about it. Just because they are family doesn't mean they have open rights to your money. Your wife stole money from your purse? Are you a man with a purse or a woman?

I used to take quarters out of my Dad's pocket change all the time!! I probably would have taken more but I knew he couldn't afford it, we were dirt poor. I never really thought of it as stealing, as we were family. By-the-by you are the husband but you have a "purse"? And what is it you should "start fast"??

I thought most men carried wallets not purses. First you need proof of who did it. You cant just accuse some one (your wife or children).Perhaps you spent it and forgot. I have done that many times.. I have spent more then I remembered. So be sure be for accusing any one of stealing.

Buy a decoy purse and fill it with some type of adhesive and confront whoever happens to have a purse stuck to their hand.

Your wife stole from your purse? Sorry, I'm still trying to figure that one out...

Hide a loaded mouse trap in there. Find out who yells!
