Idealistic but not realistic.
Trust me, I am all for world peace. I wish we could all get along. But not many people would be willing to give up their religion or background for a world religion.

Humanism suppose to be a part of any religion or, most of those existing so called religions anyway. Though, how it work in reality? Any religion, no matter of which kind of "belief" it follows grows up into dogmatic streams, in which some of them are forcing people killing each other. Do we need another religion? What would be the definition? We can practice "humanism" (in the definition you probably mean) even without religion. Embrace life and world and it will happen ...

Why do you think this world needs another religion? The world is already to humanistic. Besides humanism leads to atheism.
We humans cannot always determine right from wrong. While
there are a few good points, but the bad points far out way the good. And besides that, religions are in sad shape. While many of them were founded on belief in God. They all miss the mark
today. They are bent on this is my religion, this my church, in
other words. They are becoming more humanistic than you
realize

Actually, according to the Supreme Court, secular humanism is a religion. It's also about the only one that can be practiced in public without an outcry; it has become the national religion, in violation of the first amendment.

precisely. at the same time as evolution is taught as a regulation as solid because the regulation of gravity and the separation of Church and State turns into the perfect regulation of the land (repressing freedom of speech-to the point the position one will be censured only for praying to him/her self) then secular humanism is strictly what's being taught. And with secular humanism there are all varieties of demons. the most important between those is embracing the idea of differential morality. something that's immoral at present gained't be immoral the following day. yet another enormous demon is "if it feels good, and also you're hurting no individual, do it." there are a range of others.

First instead of a new religion we should all be looking for a relationship with GOD. If this would happen then humanism would automatically start. So please look for a long and lasting relationship with GOD and the rest will fall in to place. Take it from one who knows GOD as my best friend.

So you want us all to worship ourselves huh? No, if the atheist governments of the 20th century are an indication, I will put my alligience in a christian nation everytime. They give human rights, as well as justice and consideration for the poor. Humanism as a viable alternative to christianity was refuted by the excesses of the French revolution.

I believe that everyone should be humanist. But I don't like the word 'religion' in this context. I don't believe that humanism really fits the mould of 'religions'. I would prefer that one day everybody be humanist and we banish the word 'religion' from the language altogether.
