“So that the two hadist(s) [the sayings of the Prophet Muhammad] that have been noted provide us with a specific time table for the main embryological development before forty days. Again, the point has been made, I think, repeatedly by other speakers this morning: these hadist(s) could not have been obtained on the basic of the scientific knowledge that was available [at] the time of their writing. It follows, I think, that not only there is no conflict between genetics and religion but, in fact, religion can guide science by adding revelation to some of the traditional scientific approaches, that there exist statements in the Quran shown centuries later to be valid, which support knowledge in the Quran having been derived from God ( Allah s.w.t ).” – Dr. Joe Leigh Simpson, Chairman of Obstetrics and Gynecology Department, professor, President of American Fertility Society.

Well, let's see here. Mohammad claimed that Jesus was only a prophet and not the Son of God right? So what does the Bible have to say about people like that?

1 John 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. 2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: 3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

Mohammad claimed that he climbed a staircase to heaven, and saw the stars hanging on silver chains from the roof of the sky. He said that this was not a vision, but an actual visit.

This is enough to show that he was a false prophet, and should be ignored (Deuteronomy 18:22).

Mohammad was a Prophet to some religions. However in some Christian circles he is not regarded as a prophet and some he is . I don' t realy believe he was a "liar" in the sense that he did bellieve what he was teaching. I don't want to get in a mud slinging contest so thats as far as i'm going to go. Check out histroical site in regards to him, and then decide for yourself. Don't just take someone elses word.

there is no such thing as a prophet, so there were both (if not liars) delusional. it is a simple matter to prove they were not prophets (though may both have made some lucky or vague enough guesses about the future to appear so).

being a actual prophet negates the concept of free will. if one person can foretell the future accurately, this means they can control you (if you find out their prophecy, if it is real, you will be unable to change what happens, so you have no free will!)

if you have no free will, then reality is lost.

so many people make claims about future events that it would be strange if many of them did not come true!

would you consider someone who bets on a winning horse a prophet? di they not foretell the future?

Yes he was real human being, but he made the Messiah a prophet and not the son of Yahweh. So to me he is teaching a different Messiah, which would make him a false prophet.

Well If not a liar he sure did not understand the teachings of Christ did he? Only considered a prophet by Islam...no Jew or Christian would refer to him as a prophet

Even after anoucing His prophecy, the unbelievers were trusting Him in all kind of business, because He was known as the trustworthy Al Amin.
Besides He was born like Moses, Married, had childrens, ruled over His people like Moses, and died a normal life like Moses.

Do u think 1.25 billion population of Muslims, who believe in Muhammad (peace be upon him), are all with no brains?

Remember, most of these Muslims are the result of the converts from Christianity, idol worshippers and Judaism.
If Muhammad (pbuh) was not a true prophet, then those christians/jews convert were stupid.

No doubt,Muhammad(PBUH) is the true prophet of Allah not like Jesus-people make him to be their god. Issah(AS)(jesus),like Muhammad(PBUH) are both prophets, but surely they are not God.

The first pillar of Islam is the saying" there is non worthy of worship besides Allah, and Muhammad(PBUH)is the last prophet of Allah".This is the first thing that a Muslim should believe in to proclaim the rights of being a muslim, besides the other 4 pillars.
